How a rank boost price is built
A rank boost price is the sum of the price of every division you climb, changed by a few percentages, then reduced by an automatic volume discount, then a 3.3% processing fee is added. The order form shows the result before you pay and the server works out the same number again when you place the order. The exact prices are on the order form. This guide explains the steps.
Key facts
- The base is the sum of the price of each division between your current rank and your target.
- Duo boosting has its own, higher, price per division than solo.
- Starting deeper into a division cuts the first division's price by 20, 30, 40 or 50 percent.
- A volume discount of 5, 10 or 15 percent applies from 30, 50 and 100 euros, and the 3.3% processing fee comes last.
1. The base: one price per division
Every division has its own price, and the base is the sum of the divisions between where you are and where you want to be. Solo and duo each have their own price per division. Prices are in euros, and the dollar price is the euro price times 1.17.
2. Your starting LP
If you already have LP in your current division, the first division costs less. The order form asks for your LP in five bands and cuts the first division's price accordingly.
| Starting LP | Cut |
|---|---|
| 0-20 | 0% |
| 21-40 | 20% |
| 41-60 | 30% |
| 61-80 | 40% |
| 81-100 | 50% |
3. Server, LP gain and extras
The server adds 10 percent on NA, OCE, LAN and LAS, and nothing on the other servers. The LP gain you usually get per win can add 20 percent when it is low (15 to 19 LP per win).
Extras you tick on the order form each add a percentage, and the percentages of the extras you pick are added together before the total is multiplied. The extras on offer differ between solo and duo.
4. Coupon and volume discount
The automatic volume discount comes first, taken off the price before any coupon: 5 percent from 30 euros, 10 percent from 50 euros and 15 percent from 100 euros. A coupon is then taken off what is left, so a coupon never lowers the volume tier.
5. The processing fee
Last, a processing fee of 3.3 percent is added to what is left. The order form shows it as its own line before you pay. Valorant and Teamfight Tactics rank boosts use their own price tables and options, and the volume discount and fee work the same way.
